Advertise Your Web Site
A web site is similar to a brochure. It doesn't do much good if the
brochures are left in a box - they need to be handed out! Let customers
know you have a web site. Include your web site address in your "on
hold" phone messages. Print your web site address (www.yourname.com,
or yourname.com) on flyers, brochures, business cards, uniforms, and
in all of your advertisements. Your web site will maximize your advertising,
allowing you to say and show so much more than the limited space of
print advertisements.
Keep Your Web Site Fresh
Add new products, services, pictures, technical tips, industry news,
etc. Keeping your web site up to date and fresh keeps customers coming
back on a regular basis. Just give us a call or e-mail anytime you have
new updates, most updates can be done the same day.
Answer E-mails Promptly
For product sales, we recommend checking your e-mail at least daily,
preferably two or three times a day. Many companies are slow to respond
to e-mails, so a speedy response will impress customers. Many times
the company that responds quickly will get the sale before their competitors
have even answered the customer. Sometimes the volume of e-mails can
be overwhelming and difficult to keep up with. We have struggled with
this ourselves, when operating a retail sales site. We recommend form
letters, that can be easily personalized, for the more common questions.
Give us a call if you need help setting up form letters.
